The “Digital Seminars” bring together 113 participants

More than 110 participants in the first action developed by DIHGIGAL: the Digital Seminars “Tools for teleworking in the digital age” and “Effective tips for working from home”.

During the State of Alarm due to Covid-19 and the consequent quarantine, companies have been forced to keep their workers at home, many of them teleworking. This type of work was a challenge for companies because of their lack of experience or the difficulty of coordination between people. Starting from this context and complying with DIHGIGAL’s objective of promoting the digitalisation of the Industry, the four clusters that are part of it joined together to launch the Digital Seminars: online training sessions to help and advise companies on the efficient management of telework.

The first seminar was held on Tuesday 31 March under the title “Tools for Teleworking in the Digital Era”, using the Microsoft Teams tool. The speakers at this seminar were Lucía del Corral, SAP Delivery Manager, and Néstor Correa, Head of Competence Center, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, both from the company Stratesys, and Myriam Bau, Modern Workplace Channel Manager at Microsoft.

This session showed attendees the different tools that companies can implement in their work to collaborate online more effectively, focusing on video calling and connecting people to share data and documents, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex or TeamViewer among others.

The second seminar was launched two days later, on Thursday 2 April under the name “Tips for Working from Home”, this time through Zoom’s platform. The speakers at this seminar were Raquel García del Cid and Beatríz Martín, both consultants and Account Directors at Grupo PyA. This seminar provided advice, recommended guidelines for working at home and good practices for remote teamwork.

These webinars were attended by 113 people from 103 companies, 68 of which were members of the four clusters (CEAGA, CLUSAGA, ACLUNAGA and Cluster TIC).
