The IA4ZERO DEFECTS project “Quality control in final parts through the use of artificial intelligence with 3D laser and 2D and 3D vision for the automotive sector” aims to guarantee the dispatch of products with zero defects based on the development of artificial intelligence (AI), using artificial vision and laser systems, at an affordable cost, which enables a return on investment in the short term.

The project aims to deploy AI edge technology as an innovative technological solution for the optimisation of quality control processes in automotive component companies and therefore with an impact on the entire value chain of the Galician Automotive Sector. These developments will be carried out leveraging on first and second tier suppliers (tier1 and tier2), while strengthening the development and penetration of developers, two SMEs and a Start-up, through the application of edge AI for the automation of quality control processes and testing of innovations in the technologies developed in real environments.
IA4ZERO DEFECTS is a project coordinated by CEAGA with the participation of Galicia Digital (DIHGIGAL) and other important entities.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, as well as by the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in the framework of the call #AEI2022b.
