Galician Industry Data Space: driving collaboration and innovation in Galician industry

“Data that connects Galicia and transforms its industry”

The aim of the project is to create a decentralised, interoperable and secure industrial data space, in line with European guidelines, which facilitates collaboration and the exchange of information amongst the various stakeholders in Galicia’s industrial ecosystem. Through this infrastructure, the project aims to foster innovation, improve organisations’ operational efficiency, promote sustainability and strengthen the competitiveness of Galician businesses in an increasingly digitalised environment.

As part of this initiative, four use cases have been developed in strategic sectors of Galicia’s industry: the automotive, shipbuilding, food and ICT sectors. These use cases demonstrate, in real-world settings, the value of data spaces as a tool enabling new models of collaboration, facilitating knowledge generation, the development of innovative services and the creation of value from data.

Overall, the project helps to accelerate the digital transformation of Galicia’s industry, strengthening its capacity for innovation and positioning Galicia as a leader in the development of initiatives based on the data economy.
