On 28 February 2020, the presentation of the two hubs of digital innovation in Galicia was held in Santiago de Compostela. One of them is the Industrial Digital Innovation Hub of Galicia (DIHGIGAL), promoted by CEAGA. This meeting was attended by the president of DIHGIGAL and world director of manufacturing at GKN Driveline, Juan Antonio Lloves, as well as the Regional Minister of Economy, Employment and Industry, Francisco Conde, and representatives of the European Commission and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.

DIHGIGAL is born with the leadership of four clusters (CEAGA, CLUSAGA, ACLUNAGA and the ICT Cluster) and the support of the Government (Xunta de Galicia), besides being integrated in the Strategy of Intelligent Specialization of Galicia (RIS3). It brings together more than 450 companies and entities that employ nearly 52,000 people.

The Digital Innovation Hubs are regional structures that support and assist companies in their digital transformation processes, helping to understand what they are, how they are affected, how they can access digital technologies and how to finance and drive the investments needed to address the digital transformation. DIH aims to provide industrial companies, especially SMEs, with the technological, digital and innovation capabilities to meet the challenges of the Factory of the Future.
